The South Asian Veterinary Association (SAVA) of North America is a non-profit organization established in Toronto in 2012 to serve South Asian veterinarians and their families through community connection, professional development, and shared cultural identity.
What began as a local initiative has since grown into a vibrant network reaching veterinarians across North America.

Since our founding in 2012, SAVA has continued to grow and evolve alongside the community it serves. Over the years, we have organized numerous social events, educational programs, and professional networking opportunities that have strengthened connections across the profession.
In 2024, SAVA proudly celebrated its 10th Anniversary, marking a decade of community building, cultural connection, and professional collaboration.
