Professional Excellence
We hold the highest clinical and ethical standards, and we help every member reach them.
The South Asian Veterinary Association of Ontario was founded in 2012 by a small group of Brampton veterinarians who wanted a professional home that reflected their community. Today we are 350+ members strong.

To advance the professional growth, wellbeing, and representation of South Asian veterinary professionals in Ontario through education, mentorship, advocacy, and community.
A veterinary profession in which every internationally trained and Canadian-educated South Asian practitioner has an equitable path to licensure, leadership, and practice ownership.
We hold the highest clinical and ethical standards, and we help every member reach them.
Our heritage is a strength. We create space where language, food, and family are part of professional life.
Experienced members pay it forward — no one should navigate licensing or ownership alone.
We represent our members' interests with regulators, employers, and academic institutions.
